Job Description:

The Executive Director works with the Board of Directors to administer tha affiars, business and policies of Safe Passage. Safe Passage provides services to victims of domestic and sexual violence, short and long term housing for victims and their children, counseling, legal advocacy, children\'s services, community education, a batterer\'s intervention program, and a Latina outreach program. The Executive Director supervises 5 management staff,25-50 indirect reports and 30-35 volunteers. Responsible for direct service delivery, client and program advocacy, program development, human resource management, budget development, facilities management, fundraising, grant writing, community relations and organizational leadership.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor's degree or commensurate life experience. 3-5 years experience in the field with progressively increasing responsibility. Have completed or be able to complete 40 hour training program mandated by the state of Illinois. Hold a valid drivers license and insurance.
